I created this accordion style book when Doug Scott from WGMBH in Boston came and gave a number of lectures at MECA and spent a great deal of time in the GD Studios during his visit as well as in our classes. Having visiting artists like Doug come to MECA is really important and I think gives us opportunities that we as students could never replicate elsewhere. These books were created with the idea that a stream of consciousness could be articulated and the inspirations of each artist could be explored within their own piece.
