This post is a culmination of two different projects. The first is a Web Design class assignment to choose a product and create the "face of a company" in a digital for with a front splash page and inner pages developed fully. I created 207 Cargo "Completely Custom Cargo Pant", a company based out of the Old Port. I created a number of completely different looks that targeted different age groups and styles.
The second project was done in Information Design. This project had a direct connection with Portland community and MECA. The Maine Academy Of Modern Music came to MECA graphic designers hoping for a new logo and possibly website layout. I wanted my site to be targeted not only at the kids who are featured on the site but also for their parents who would be gathering information most likely. My site has a number of interactive features that show themselves when the viewer explores the site a little. I was trying to find a good balance between usability and overall style and interest.
